Hello, everyone.
This is going to be one of those weeks: lively and exciting, with a Solar Eclipse, two planets reversing direction, and Jupiter entering a new sign. This is a week of change which will set up longer term dynamics that unfold over the coming week and months.
Monday
The Sun and Venus join in Capricorn on Monday. This conjunction brings you together with others who share your business goals. Down to earth negotiations and collaboration bring practical good luck, resulting in profits – we like that!
Wednesday
Wednesday holds the same dynamic as Monday, but with the added ingredient of Uranus joining the Sun/Venus mix. This brings a measure of unpredictability and excitement, but still lucrative, especially if the connections come from farther afield – even global!
Add to the mix Saturn, which will make its station and turn retrograde on Wednesday. When a planet makes its station, we feel it strongly a few days before and after. Saturn, the planet of boundaries and limitations, will bring even more practicality and structure to the week. If you’re approached by someone older and wiser, listen. Their advice is just what you need to hear and will carry you through the next few months.
Friday
On Friday there is an Annular Solar Eclipse. Per Wikipedia:
An annular eclipse occurs when the Sun and Moon are exactly in line, but the apparent size of the Moon is smaller than that of the Sun. Hence the Sun appears as a very bright ring, or annulus, surrounding the outline of the Moon.
During a normal New Moon, the Sun symbolically “swallows” the Moon. The Moon loses its power and the Sun’s power is made stronger. During a solar eclipse, the Moon blocks the Sun’s rays from reaching the earth. Symbolically, both energies are weakened. In our business lives, the Sun represents the leader, the owner, the one setting the vision for the enterprise. The Moon represents the employees, the ones who take the vision of the owner and form it into a product or service. With both of these energies weakened, it’s best not to expect too much from either party. A quiet day is favored, with few meetings and limited travel. Stay at your desk and catch up on paperwork if you can, because…
Mercury resumes direct motion on Friday. (To read more about Mercury’s current retrograde cycle, use this link.) It has travelled all the way back to 5 degrees of Capricorn and begins moving full-steam ahead. Paperwork, contracts, negotiations can move forward again and plans you’ve been developing can be put into motion.
Sunday
Late Sunday night, EST, Jupiter enters Pisces. Pisces is a water sign, concerned with the emotional connections that bind people together. This sign expresses itself as devotion to an ideal, often mystical or artistic, and the desire to lose oneself in the shared feeling of the group.
Jupiter, the planet of opportunity and expansion, is the ancient ruler of Pisces. This will bring a very positive influence to all endeavors that attempt to unite people based on a shared intention for the future. To take advantage of Jupiter in Pisces, look for ways to bring people together and give everyone a stake in the outcome.
Have an awesome week!
