Astro4Business Weekly Forecast – Revving Up & Cycling Down

Hello, everyone.

This week the Moon winds down, losing light until it merges with the Sun at the New Moon on Sunday.  Despite this general loss of energy there are also several important aspects during the week which will require us to step up and exert ourselves.  Take extra special care of yourself this week.  These are conflicting influences which could tax your body.  Rev up when you have to, and then cycle all the way down when you can.  Massage or long slow walks will help keep you in balance.

Monday

On Monday Venus re-enters Scorpio, covering the same ground she passed over in early September and early November.  You may see matters come back to the table for negotiation, this time with much more information and understanding of the people involved.  The moving parts will make more sense to you now and you may wish to re-organize (one more time!) in order to get the proper players into the proper positions.  Your efforts will pay off this time as Venus will stabilize in direct motion now for the next eighteen months.

In your business operations you could see a parting of the ways today, perhaps one part of your team veering off in a direction that the whole group won’t understand.  With Mars in Sagittarius challenging Jupiter in Pisces, it’s up to you to stand on the balcony today and make sure you understand the patterns which are evolving.  You’re the one with the long view and you’re likely to have a better sense of future opportunities than any of the conflicting factions.  You may have to make a judgment call to curb overconfidence or impulsive actions.

Tuesday

On Tuesday, Mercury leaves Sagittarius and enters Capricorn.  From the free-wheeling Sagittarius energy we’ll enter a much more serious frame of mind.  You’ll see a heightened ability to concentrate and deliver on promises.  Watch out for a tendency to lose your sense of humor just when you need it most!

Mercury in Capricorn is great for planning and strategy, so if you still have your 2011 business plan in front of you, set time aside to work on it between now and December 18th.  Due to retrograde motion, Mercury will slip back into Sagittarius which will be great for the holidays but not so good for serious planning.

Wednesday

With a supportive aspect between Mercury in Capricorn and Venus in Scorpio today, you will see conversations flow, good news, and a spirit of compromise and agreement.  This is an excellent day to buy new equipment, especially computers and the like.  This is one of the days this week when opportunities for growth may present themselves and ideas start to take on lives of their own but remember, we’re also winding down to the New Moon.  This is not the week to initiate a new endeavor but that doesn’t mean we can’t gather good ideas and dream a little.

Thursday

Thursday’s another tricky day considering the phase of the Moon.  It’s definitely not a time to initiate new action, but on the other hand initiatory Mars is in excellent aspect with intuitive Neptune so the urge to act will be powerful and possibly warranted.  This is a particular day to take care of yourself if you feel there is an opportunity just too good to pass up.  Go for it, but rest, too.  In fact, it’s in the resting that the best of the inspiration may come to you.

Friday

Today we enter the balsamic Moon phase, the dark of the Moon, when all of nature slows down and becomes still.  This is a fantastic phase for intuition, for tuning into the future and receiving inner guidance about what is coming next.  New approaches to old problems can suddenly rise to the surface if you allow an “empty, dormant interlude between [the] two cycles to do its mysterious work.” (Rael and Rudhyar, Astrological Aspects)

Ah, but letting ourselves be dormant will be tough today with a Mars/Uranus aspect: we’ll more likely be chomping at the bit!  We’re tired of waiting, we’re tired of stalling, and most of all we’re tired of everyone else’s opinions about what we should do.  Today we’re willing to fight for freedom from restraint, and as the leader of your team I must warn you:  everyone else is willing to fight too.  This can be a tense, stressful day as everyone tries to meet their own personal needs, possibly without regard for anyone else.

This aspect is valuable; it’s about trying to square the need to move ahead with the knowledge that there is more to be revealed.  You may not be able to avoid decisive action today despite the phase of the Moon and you may run into more push-back than usual from your team.  It will be up to you to stand your ground.

Sunday

Sunday is the power day of the week.  It begins with the New Moon in Sagittarius.  The New Moon brings a release of energy and new possibilities at every level.  Wait a couple of days to take action though.  On the actual day of the New Moon it’s hard to discern the difference between what you wish for and what has true potential.

Next, Mercury meets Pluto in Capricorn.  This aspect has the potential to expose hidden dysfunction in your business and bring practical solutions to overcome it.  It can also expose hidden resources, both talents and financial strength you were unaware of which can lead to a whole new beginning for your company.  Major change may not be accomplished in a day or even a few weeks; this is the very starting point in the Mercury/Pluto annual cycle.  But respect and document what comes to your attention today.  Great power and potential can be released into your mind.

And then last but not least on this incredible day, Uranus, the last planet in retrograde motion this year, makes its station and resumes its normal direct motion.  This signals a turnaround in all business matters influenced by the planet Uranus:  industry structures; innovation; new technology; invention; community impact; creative destruction; and rapid redirection, to name a few.

So I’d say we have our hands full this week, wouldn’t you?

Astro4Business Weekly Forecast – And Some News

Anonymous Flammarion woodcut (1888). (Source:Wikimedia Commons)

Hello, everyone.

If I had to pick a theme for the week, I’d say it will be finding the balance point between our desire to expand, look afar, and interact with foreign soils, and our need to care for the emotional needs of others.  We’ve got lots of fire sign energy this week, with its motto “Don’t fence me in!” and lots of water energy, with its motto “Connect!”

We’ll all have to be careful not to polarize and take the side that is easier or more familiar to us and blame others for playing the other role.  If you tend to more fire, then you may feel that others are trying to trap you with their demands.  And if you tend to more water, you may feel that others are not as caring and careful as you are.  But both energies are at play this week and the more we can claim both sides ourselves, the smoother the week will go.

Monday

The Sun moves into Sagittarius today and it’s your astrologer’s birthday!  Sagittarius ushers in the time of year when our impulse is toward celebration and freedom.  I’ve always thought it was a reaction to the darkening of the days in the Northern Hemisphere; merriment in the face of the death all around us in the month before the Winter Solstice.

And for you Southern Hemisphere people it seems a natural celebration of the growing light, with all the hope it contains, the possibilities for expansion which are the heart of Sagittarius.

Tuesday

After the Full Moon on Sunday bringing our ideas and projects to fruition and display, this is the first point of adjustment, with a quincunx between the Sun in Sagittarius and the Moon in Cancer.    Today we must adapt our plans to the needs of others, adjusting to the pull of emotional ties.  As great as our vision is, at this phase of the Moon we have to accept what is instead of what could be; this is the time to recognize the realities of our situation and take practical steps to align ourselves with these realities.  And the realities are likely to include the impact of our plans on our employees and family.  It’s the natural time to scale back and compromise.

Thursday

Today holds a square between Mercury and Jupiter, a day when we’re peering out the window yearning for distant pastures, but our duties and/or morals require us to focus on emotional connection.  It’s not all challenging though, because both Mercury in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Pisces understand the need for the imagination to roam.  How about roaming with a different group, or adding some eclectic members to your tribe?  If you’re celebrating the holiday, how about a different sort of festivity?  Service to others would be a great use of the energies of day, especially if there was a learning component involved.

If today is not a holiday for you, then I would schedule time for some wandering with others:  bookstores, museums, libraries, your local university.  All these activities take advantage of the day.

Friday

Today is the day to bring your project home, fully realized and perfected by the feedback you received earlier in the week.  The Sun and Moon move in harmony today in fire signs, so it’s time to cast a wider net and display your new product or project.  If you’ve scheduled a customer demonstration, everyone will appreciate a bit of dramatic flair.  Don’t be afraid to let your light shine today.

If you’re in retail, you know today can be one of the best days of the year.  Really go all out with lights; go over the top.  Today is a natural for a sense of fun and optimism.

Saturday

Today Mercury in Sagittarius forms aspects to both Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces.  This indicates information and communications coming in from far and wide.  You’ve probably been yearning for some new images or input; they will come today if you look outside your local community to global interaction.  And yes, over the internet is certainly a possibility.

Sunday

On Sunday we reach the 3rd Quarter Lunar phase.  It may feel too soon but it’s time to start letting the last project go, handing it off to others for further implementation.  With the Moon in Virgo your best move is to carefully and precisely hand it over to someone you trust.  Pass it on with specific instructions, even taking the time to document what has led to this point and your expectations for the future.  And then work on letting it go completely over the next week, to prepare open space for new inspiration at the New Moon.

And some news

Holidays and travel to London and Bruges are beckoning me; how can I refuse?  I expect my writing will be a little more spontaneous over the next few weeks as this Sagittarius goes exploring and making merry.  I think the best idea is to subscribe via the RSS feed above and then you’ll be notified by email whenever there is a new post.  I don’t want to lose touch with you.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Saturn and Mercury – in Good Hands

Source:Wikimedia Commons

Good Day!

Today we enjoy a supportive aspect between Mercury and Saturn.  All week the lunar energy is building toward a culmination at the Full Moon on Sunday, yet this Mercury/Saturn aspect will make us question things like data security and earning a practical return for the time we’re investing.

With Mercury in Sagittarius our minds are likely to range far and wide.  You’ll be enthusiastic about communications, meetings, and global interactions and less likely to want to deal with the humdrum tasks in your local environment.  The whole time Mercury is in Sagittarius (November 8 – 30) we’ll have to tie ourselves to our desks; our instinctive impulse will be to roam free.  It’s actually good to build in some time for this kind of far-ranging, imagination-stoking wandering.  This is the natural time of the year for exploration and adventure, maybe not in a physical sense, but definitely in the mind.  If you really can’t get out, then this is a great time to read about topics foreign to you and discover new fields of interest.

If you allow some of that wandering today, you’re likely to run into someone who will resonate with your ideas and yet has some practical advice for you too.  Saturn in Libra is very keen to share wisdom and experience and the harmony between these two planets today will make us eager to listen to good advice.  In fact, why not round up a trusted advisor and take them to lunch today?  Let your minds ramble together and see if you don’t find a key to a new launch or venture.

I’m having a medical procedure tomorrow and with this aspect I feel I am in good hands.  Actually Mercury rules the hands and Saturn is the sense of authority, stability, and wisdom.  So I’m surrendering to the procedure with confidence and faith.

I am having a sedative for the procedure so I may not write a post tomorrow.  But here’s a reminder about our experiment we’re conducting this week.   From the Astro4Business Weekly Forecast:

There’s an astrological theory which says that on the day a planet resumes direct motion, it manifests a turn of events in our lives.  Let’s test this theory.  Both Venus and Jupiter resume direct motion on November 18 and both are very strong in signs they rule, Libra and Pisces – if there was ever a prime testing time, this week is it.  Take notice if you experience a turnaround in the matters mentioned above (professional relationships, money, creativity, art, job satisfaction, good public relations, new opportunities, expansion, foreign markets, philanthropy, justice and vision.)   We’re looking for real world turns and advancement: promotions, windfalls, proposals, etc.

Thanks to everyone who has commented so far here or on Facebook.  We’re really within the zone of manifestation now, so keep your senses peeled.

Tinkering and Toying with the Aquarius Moon

Source:Wikimedia Commons

Good Day!

A perfectly smooth day today with aspects of ease between the Moon, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn.

Actually the Moon/Mercury aspect occurs while most of us are sleeping so if you’re reading this the evening before put a pen and paper by your bed.  You may just get the inspiration you’ve been looking for and you’ll want to jot it down before it vanishes.  And if you’re reading in the morning think back to last night.  Anything worth remembering?

Later in the day you’ll get a boost of energy from Mars in Sagittarius.  You and your key employees will be thinking out of the box this afternoon.  Exploration and adventure will be on everyone’s mind so keep the creative juices flowing, even if it’s Friday.  If you’ve been tinkering with a new product idea, today’s the day to toss it to other people and see what they think.  You may be surprised how much further they take it, sensing applications you weren’t even aware of.

You don’t have to be afraid of going overboard though because the final aspect of the day is between the Moon and sensible Saturn.  Not just fun or frivolous, whatever your team comes up with will have practical applications and a good chance of actually being implemented.

Have you tried anything new this week?  I am toying with taking a blogging bootcamp.  The first week is free so I’ve been participating.  Good ideas so far.  Here’s the link in case you’re interested.   Oh, and by the way, the bread I mentioned in yesterday’s post was just OK.  It looked beautiful but lacked flavor.  More experiments to come.

Have a fun Friday and a relaxing weekend.

Aquarius Moon Today – More Theory, Less Grindstone

Source:Wikimedia Commons

Good Day!

I’ll be glad when the Moon moves out of Capricorn today – two and ½ days of serious focus is about all this Sagittarius/double Gemini can handle.  Don’t get me wrong.  I appreciate Capricorn and its planet Saturn – really everything worthwhile that I’ve accomplished is due to that energy of focus, hard work, and discipline.  But I do enjoy the intellectual Aquarian Moon that’s coming today – more theory, less grindstone, please!

The Moon continues to grow, gathering steam, as it approaches a turning point on Saturday.  This is still the time for inspiration and throwing ideas against the wall to see what will stick.  In a couple of days we’re going to have to choose:  what will we take to completion, what will we let go?  But for now the options are limitless so try to stay open to whatever comes in the door.  It’s too soon for certainty.

There’s an interesting aspect toward the end of the day (MDT) that may bring a disheartened moment; perhaps a discovery that you’ve been misled by some information or that someone’s communications have been less than honest.  Mercury is in Sagittarius now and Sagittarius is known for digging matters out from under the table and laying them bare for all to see.  Yes, it can be painful to realize you were in the dark, but it’s better to know now while you still have time to resolve it.  It could be rough for a few hours but I think we’ll all be grateful by the end of the day.

That’s it!  I hope you’re enjoying this relatively tranquil week.  I know I am.  Even though I’ve been working hard, I’ve still had time to take the dog for a run, enjoy a couple of hatha yoga sessions, meditate twice so far this week (yeah!), and experiment with a new bread made with a biga starter.  I’ll let you know how it comes out – it’s about ready to go into the oven.

Astro4Business Weekly Forecast – October 11 – 17

Anonymous Flammarion woodcut (1888). (Source:Wikimedia Commons)

Hello, everyone.

This week we continue with the waxing phase of the Moon.  Although we will be actively pursuing our projects and goals, there is only one major feature this week, an aspect between the Sun and Mercury.

Phases of the Moon

This week we move from the crescent phase firmly into the first quarter Moon phase.  This is the waxing phase of the cycle, a time when products or projects conceived at the New Moon begin to take form.  With the Sun in Libra and the Moon in Sagittarius on Monday and Tuesday, keep your eyes open for opportunities from near and far to augment your initial idea.  You may find inspiration from multiple sources feed into your plan.

When we reach the first quarter Moon phase on Thursday, we may be asked to switch gears.  The Capricorn Moon brings a practical, down-to-earth sensibility and we may have to curtail our original plan.  If a choice between two alternatives presents itself, go with the more ambitious yet most practical alternative.  And then take action; doing anything is better than doing nothing during this lunar phase.

By Sunday the Moon in Aquarius really revs up the growth cycle of your project.  This is the full-steam-ahead phase which requires commitment and striving to make your idea more than imagination.  It’s time for a concrete product to take shape that will be ready by the Full Moon on the 22nd.

Sun/Mercury

On Saturday the Sun in Libra joins with Mercury.  The Sun represents you, the leader of your team, and Mercury represents communications, information technology, and thinking processes.  This is an excellent day for a meeting of minds.  If you gather your team you’re sure to learn something new.  Bring everyone together and listen; you’ll be able to think on your feet and respond creatively to any new information.  Then come up with assignments for further research and implementation.

That’s it for the week!  Have a great one and let me know how it goes!

Astro4Business Weekly Forecast – September 27 – October 3

Anonymous Flammarion woodcut (1888). (Source:Wikimedia Commons)

Anonymous Flammarion woodcut (1888). (Source:Wikimedia Commons)

Hello, everyone.

The first part of the week is relatively calm, a good time to put the finishing touches on projects and to begin to hand them over to a second-in-command for long-term implementation.  Or perhaps you’re ready to complete an assignment and submit the finished product to a customer.  Either way, the waning Moon provides the energy to begin letting go of the concerns of the immediate past.

Starting on Thursday, we meet the major aspects for the week, although the first is strong enough to influence the entire week.

Thursday

On Thursday the Sun in Libra encounters Saturn in the same sign.  In astrological theory, Saturn is very strong in Libra and the Sun is weakened.  Saturn thrives on the rules and discipline that contribute to stable relationships, the realm of Libra.  The Sun, on the other hand, much prefers independence to interdependence and would rather shine as the center of its own system than have to share the limelight.  As they meet, the strong Saturn stamps the Sun with its influence.

This is the beginning of an annual cycle; every year the faster-moving Sun crosses the position of Saturn, beginning a new cycle of interaction between the two.  In a best case scenario, our role as leaders (Sun) becomes infused with discipline, structure, and strategy (Saturn).  We arrive at the point in the year when we assess how far we have come and become ready to build on our previous accomplishments.  In the worst case, we feel disappointed about our progress and feel our own power is limited.  This can lead to over-relying on systems and policies rather than a sense of our own natural authority.

Possibly we’ve recently lost a trusted advisor; now is the time to reach out to someone new.  An older, more experienced business-person is always an asset, a mentor or sponsor who can serve as a role model and advocate for your success.  In fact, this is the perfect time of the year to redefine your idea of what true success has come to mean to you now.  Then you’ll be in the perfect position to choose the right person to bring balance and wisdom into your world.

Friday & Saturday

Two weeks ago we experienced a major Jupiter/Uranus alignment.  Deep in the recesses of your mind, a new idea was being born, an innovation that could influence the next decade and a half in your business.  Last week the Sun and the Moon brought the message of this configuration into our conscious world, either through our own insight or through other people’s input.

On Friday and Saturday, we will have another chance to capture the point as Mercury opposes Jupiter on Friday and Uranus on Saturday.  With Mercury, those of us who are more analytical, who like our inspiration in bits, bites, and data, may be the ones to clearly see the future.

If you already caught the Jupiter/Uranus inspiration during the last two weeks, this is the time to get your best statistical or mathematical minds to do some scenario planning.  Forge the links between your leadership team and your analysis team and see what they come up with.  Don’t begin to implement yet, though.  Jupiter and Uranus are still in retrograde motion.  It’s best to keep big, new endeavors in the planning stages now.

Sunday

Venus and Mars meet in Scorpio on Sunday after performing a most interesting dance.  Usually Venus is the faster-moving planet and she laps Mars each year.  This year Venus and Mars joined in Libra in August and now will join again on Sunday.  But contrary to their normal motion, Venus is in slow-motion as she prepares to turn retrograde, while Mars becomes the faster-moving planet, lapping Venus.

When they met in August Venus was strong in Libra and Mars was weakened.  Now, Venus is weakened in Scorpio and Mars is strengthened.  It’s like everything has gone topsy-turvy in the last six weeks!

All this boils down to relationships. Venus and Mars represent the yin and yang of relating.  In business Venus represents our social instincts and the compromises we make to maintain long-term professional relationships.  Mars is our competitive drive and our ability to apply our energy and effort to overcome obstacles and win.

We will probably see raw ambition trump interpersonal skills for a while.  This could be a good thing if you’re on the giving end but a disaster if you’re on the receiving end.  So mind your p’s and q’s this whole week and especially on Sunday.  Recognize that there is an imbalance and hold off on decisions which impact Venus’ realm:  creativity, design, product lines, public relations, negotiations, and pricing.

And a Note

Over the next three weeks, look for the weekly forecast and the monthly forecast for October.  I’ll also cover major astrological events such as the New Moon and Venus Retrograde and there’s a guest post coming up I’m sure you’ll find valuable.  I’ll be less regular with the A4B Today feature as a big project is in the works for my alter-ego company, Ellen Longo CPA, CFP.

Enjoy your week!

A4B Today – September 24, Pitru Paksha

Source:Wikimedia Commons

Good Day!

Today the Moon is still in its full lunar phase in Aries.  Although the exact moment of the Full Moon has passed, the next few days carry the same energy.  It’s time to bring your tasks and projects to completion, and demonstrate their value to others.

This feisty, independent energy of the Moon in Aries has one problem today – Mercury in Virgo.  Mercury represents our rational thinking processes and all communications and meetings.  Mercury in Virgo requires precision and organized plans and presentations.  The Moon in Aries just wants “to be starting something” and cares little about precautions or perfections.

You may have to adjust one or another party’s expectations, or separate the two camps for the day.  The best use of this energy would bring your firm’s excitement and winning attitude into careful communications, with everyone’s best interests in mind.  Seems like a fairly tough assignment to me!

Today begins the 14-day Hindu celebration of Pitru Paksha.  Pitru (forefathers) Paksha (phase of the Moon) is an annual celebration honoring ancestors.  It is said that the ancestors return to earth during this time, and honoring them helps their souls remain content.  It is traditional to give charity at this time as a way to give back to those who gave so much to us.

“Ancestors” in this context has come to mean all those whose blessings have allowed us to live a full and happy life.  This refers to all of our biological ancestors, but also any mentors or guides, school teachers, coaches, spiritual advisors, anyone to whom we owe a debt of gratitude.  For those of us in business, it’s a great time to remember and thank anyone who enabled our success, anyone whose example inspired us, or who gave us an opportunity when we needed it most.  It’s also a great time to reach out to others for wisdom and to share our own with others.

Have a wonderful weekend. May all of your guides and guardians be pleased to continue to support you in the coming year!

A4B Today – September 16, Moon in Capricorn

Source:Wikimedia Commons

Are you ready to work today?  With the waxing Moon in Capricorn, it’s time to get busy.   Capricorn is an active sign, focused on real accomplishment in the actual physical world.  Not planning, thinking about planning, or planning to plan.  This is about activity and achievement.

One symbol for Capricorn is the mountain goat, steadily climbing step-by-step up the mountain until it reaches the top.  This is a good image for today.  The Moon aspects Venus, Saturn, and Mercury very, very early in the morning (MDT) and then there are no other major aspects until tomorrow.  This gives us the whole day to be like that goat, steady and sure-footed all day.

If you set a goal at the beginning of the day you’ll surely reach it by the end.  There are no external obstacles and no impediments today.  So take advantage of the stars today:  this is the most productive day of the week.

And if you can get out in the evening, don’t miss Venus.  She’s at her brightest magnitude right now and really a sight to behold.  If you go for this kind of thing, it’s a great evening to wave a candle or stick of incense to her and thank her for the blessings she brings to our lives:  love, relationship, money, luxuries, and beauty.  She likes to be acknowledged and admired and she’s close and listening tonight.

A4B Today – September 14, Mars in Scorpio

Source:Wikimedia Commons

Good Day!

Have you noticed the direct motion of Mercury yet?  Several clients have gotten in touch to ask what’s happened.  They can’t get off the phone; projects in the planning stage have suddenly been given the go-ahead; back-to-back meetings keep them running all day; transportation issues like airport pick-ups and fleet issues are colliding.  When I tell them that Mercury has resumed direct motion, they understand.  They’re also relieved and excited.  They know this is a sign that progress can be made and the planning, logical, reasoning, objective mind has returned – in themselves and their staff!

Today we’re at the midpoint of the waxing Moon cycle, with the Moon in Sagittarius forcing us to expand our original idea.  The plan we hatched with the Virgo New Moon may feel a little small and a little too specific now.  The Sagittarius Moon urges us to take it out of the box, beyond the borders of our original idea.  You’ll have to work on balance today, balance between your own inclination to keep things practical and your recognition that you want to see how far and wide this idea can go.  This could feel like scope-creep, and yet some expansion of scope will make your project more viable.

And, last but certainly not least, Mars enters the sign Scorpio today until October 28.  Mars in Scorpio is a force to be reckoned with:  powerful, productive, but potentially destructive if not handled well.  Mars is the planet that represents personal will, the part of us that sets goals and pursues them.  It is intensely self-focused, we want what we want, and usually this energy is a powerful ally in business.

When Mars reaches the sign Scorpio, though, a fundamental transformation has to occur in our drive.  Scorpio’s realm has to do with interchange and interconnection.  Ambitions are realized through interaction with others.  If a person is willing to apply their drive in concert with others, there’s no more effective position for Mars.  At its best, Mars in Scorpio brings mastery at marshalling other people’s resources toward a common goal, whether this means the ability to move your staff in a coherent direction or convincing bankers and shareholders to support your vision.

Sometimes Mars can feel thwarted in Scorpio and we are unwilling to include concern for others in our plans.  If the situation requires us to march in step with the whole team, we may feel impotent, like we are losing our edge.  And then the worst can come out, including defensiveness, vengeance, retribution, and distrust.  What’s worse, Mars in Scorpio is absolutely opposed to getting things out on the table.  Afraid of humiliation, true feelings are hidden which can set up a cycle of blame and resentment.

As a leader, how can you deal with this?  First of all, this is no time to hide your head in the sand.  A mentor once told me to be “wise in the ways of the world.”  Be extra vigilant during this time and cognizant of the emotional currents between and among people.  Watch your staff’s interactions with customers.  Reach for candor in all your meetings.  Challenge people to express themselves with vulnerability and if they do, reward them with your loyalty.

And for you?  Searing honesty about your own motives is the only way.  Take note if you experience the visceral Mars in Scorpio feeling:  heat rising from your pelvis that feels like fear in your stomach and anger in your heart.  If you feel this, it’s time for self-examination, and with Mars in Scorpio you might have to dig deeply to find the source of the feeling.

Ever experimental, let’s see if we see an instance of Mars in Scorpio playing out in our workday today or tomorrow.  Often when a planet changes signs, we get a signal about the issues we will confront during its passage.  You may not want to share it in the comments.  It is, after all, Mars in Scorpio.
