Hello, everyone.

Guess what?  This is a very light week indeed, with only two major planetary events.  And with the waxing Moon, now is the time to move ahead on your plans knowing there are no obstacles to block your progress this week…at least not from the planets!

Of course it’s important to note that if you personally are in the midst of challenging times, as shown by the current transits of the planets compared to your natal chart, then you will experience the ongoing effects of these transits.  However, you can expect relatively less interference from others this week, perhaps a reprieve and a little space to breathe.  That’s good, right?

On Monday Mercury leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius.  This may feel like a good thing; Scorpio can be a challenging sign for Mercury as communications can carry hidden agendas and we tend to perceive others as covertly looking for power or some kind of edge over us.

Sagittarius is much more uplifting and sunny; trust and optimism return to our own thought patterns and to our interactions with others.  But Sagittarius isn’t particularly good for Mercury either.  When Mercury is in Sagittarius we only see the forest, but we can’t see the trees.  So check and double-check anything that needs careful analysis before jumping to conclusions.

At the end of the week Mars and Saturn form a harmonious aspect.  This should show up as opportunities to expand the range or scope of your business with good advice from a trusted mentor.  This aspect is a marker of harnessed energy and progress in business and practical matters.  And if you experience an unexpected delay, this will turn out fortunately in the long run.

And that’s it!  Enjoy this tranquil week and certainly let me know how it goes.

Hello, everyone.

This week we continue with the waxing phase of the Moon.  Although we will be actively pursuing our projects and goals, there is only one major feature this week, an aspect between the Sun and Mercury.

Phases of the Moon

This week we move from the crescent phase firmly into the first quarter Moon phase.  This is the waxing phase of the cycle, a time when products or projects conceived at the New Moon begin to take form.  With the Sun in Libra and the Moon in Sagittarius on Monday and Tuesday, keep your eyes open for opportunities from near and far to augment your initial idea.  You may find inspiration from multiple sources feed into your plan.

When we reach the first quarter Moon phase on Thursday, we may be asked to switch gears.  The Capricorn Moon brings a practical, down-to-earth sensibility and we may have to curtail our original plan.  If a choice between two alternatives presents itself, go with the more ambitious yet most practical alternative.  And then take action; doing anything is better than doing nothing during this lunar phase.

By Sunday the Moon in Aquarius really revs up the growth cycle of your project.  This is the full-steam-ahead phase which requires commitment and striving to make your idea more than imagination.  It’s time for a concrete product to take shape that will be ready by the Full Moon on the 22nd.

Sun/Mercury

On Saturday the Sun in Libra joins with Mercury.  The Sun represents you, the leader of your team, and Mercury represents communications, information technology, and thinking processes.  This is an excellent day for a meeting of minds.  If you gather your team you’re sure to learn something new.  Bring everyone together and listen; you’ll be able to think on your feet and respond creatively to any new information.  Then come up with assignments for further research and implementation.

That’s it for the week!  Have a great one and let me know how it goes!
